No more fig leaf for Christians

In this day and age, Trump Christians are willing to look full in the face of the violence of their systems. They require no moral fig leaf. There’s a part of me that longs for the times when Christians were ignorant—willfully or otherwise—of the horrible things happening as a result of policies. But it has become clear to me that it is the heart that is in need of the saving power of Jesus Christ’s witness on behalf of the marginalized.
